Go on then. What do these "made-up sports" involve? Inquiring minds want to know. -- The Anome 08:32, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I do hope to be able to put up descriptions of all events soon. Some of the events are pretty self-explanatory (international skids, for example: performing the longest possible skid on a 'track' slicked with xanthan gum). To whet your appetite, in Association Bobbage each competitor jumps off a platform x centimetres above a swimming pool, but on entry his head must remain above water. All successful competitors go through to the next round, when the platform is raised to x + 1 centimetres. The event continues until only one competitor remains.
It sounds pretty silly, but that's part of its appeal. -- Katherine Shaw 13:05, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)

Quite outdated[edit]

As of summer 2006 this article seems to be quite outdated. "Current" references are referring to 2003-2004.

The show was cancelled by Five partway into the 2004 series for a special week of programmes on cosmetic surgery, and, AFAIK, the remaining episodes haven't been broadcast Elcondor 14:46, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
