Ministries?[edit]

Why non-ministries are removed [1]? They do not bear the name ministry, but they are commonly referred to as ministries. — Insta ntnood 14:35, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

I am thinking if we need a page using a generic term as a disambiguation to all ministries/departments of health all around the world. — Insta ntnood 14:50, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

That isnt what disambiguation pages are for. There is such a thing called "categories" for that.--Huaiwei 15:09, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

The UK health department was named Ministry of Health, and Hong Kong's health bureau is commonly called ministry. — Insta ntnood 16:18, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

The UK health department was formed after a merger of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Security way back in 1966. Has the Hong Kong health bureau ever been officially called a Ministry? Either way, this is not important. A disambiguation page refers to similar names. Not similar "old names" unless there is a SEPERATE article for it, nor is it for "commonly called yet unofficial" names for a governmental department.--Huaiwei 17:30, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
