Grammar[edit]

"a convoy of four Halliburton trucks was ambushed north of Baghdad."

How can I believe the author when I can't believe his grammar?

---This is correct usage. The word "was" is attached to "a convoy." Remove the modifying phrase "of four Halliburton trucks" and you will see how it fits.

Well said.

It also says, however, "The fact caught on the video, the #1 and #2 gun truck abandoned the rest of the convoy. Gun 3, 4 and 5 were pinned down and were not able to run." I don't know what this person was trying to write, so I can't fix it, but it is egregiously incorrect. 68.189.34.91 (talk) 08:06, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Engineers[edit]

The article could extrapolate on the value of engineers to Halliburton. In 2012, after the BP Horizon Blowout, the former CEO gave speech at UTEP about engineers. At the time, the company wasn't for engineers, but rather liberal arts types. Albeit, as the CEO said, engineers are smart, but they aren't real good for Halliburton Management. In a later speech, He viewed the modern workplace as a "battlefield" between engineers and what one may believe to be people who play video games and speak more than one language. But, he's a CPA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.69.198.123 (talk) 03:10, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It could be a good addition to the article if there is a reliable independent source that discusses it. Drop a link here if you find one. Schazjmd (talk) 16:48, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
