Can anyone get me pinyin for the Chinese language names: 唐魚, 廣東細鯽, 潘氏細鯽, and 白雲山? —Tkinias 01:41, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I pieced together pinyin for the names based on Unihan. I have "Tan Kan Fei" as discoverer's name and "Lin Shu-Yen" as describer's; hanzi for these names, and proper pinyin too, would be appreciated. —Tkinias 23:21, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)

My wife, who is Chinese, tells me the Chinese words spelled out as "tang wen" should be "tang yu"; yu is the common word for fish. The accent is the same as at present, indicating 2nd tone. (P.S. I don't remember my login password but my email is uumike (at) comcast (dot) net.

EDIT by Brunus, april 5 2017 : According to Wikipedia ZH, the name of the scientist who named the fish is 林書顏, Lin Shuyan : https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%94%90%E9%AD%9A — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.64.71.159 (talk) 13:08, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
