i have unconventional ambitions and i plan to use unconventional methods to achieve them. so i might not end up doing it at all. coz that is pretty unconventional, is not it? i guess not, many peiple do not achieve what they wanted to, that is pretty shitty. i want to do better than them and get what i want or at least a part of it.

i write poetry a lot, i love writing it, coz its not a very involving process. i do not have t oset out to write one but might end up wirting three in the space of an hour. people might consider it slow but then that;s ok i do not consider their considerations.

i like reading books too, in fact i am quite pretentious in the way i suggest books to other people when i myself have not read them. thats phoney right, may it be. the books i loved reading were trainspotting, porno, maximum city: lost and found, the ground beneath her feet, catcher in the rye, the da vinci code, animal farm, nineteen eighty four, the impressionist. my inspiration among writers is salman rushdie. he really frames the character so neatly yet gives them an ambiguity. among the books i hate are all from the harry potter series. i do not like that stupid little kid with the wand.

i love films because they encapsulate so much within their timespan and still have a lasting effect. its the magic of blurring timelines and space boundaries in the films that will always fascinate me. among my favourites and its a long list - all QT films except for Jackie Brown; Fight Club, Bowling for Columbine, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Seven, Maqbool (Hindi Film), Naach (Hindi), The Terminal, No Man's Land, Amelie, Memento, The Usual Suspects, The Shawshank Redemption, Breathless (Jean Luc Godard's), American History X, The Life of David Gale. i could go on naming if i can remember all of them. films have been such a big influence on me and my thoughts. i see real life from the perspective of films and how it would look on celluloid.

i am open to all kinds of music unless it is bubble-gum pop. i hate all the boy bands hype, they are just a bunch of guys with no talents and absolutely stuffed toy looks. i like rock and roll becoz of the attitude it embodies and the rebellious nature of its music and the artists. Led Zeppelin, Incubus, Tool, Slipknot, A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, The Doors, U2, Coldplay, Shakti, RATM, RHCP, Radiohead. Too many likes actually.

I like spending hrs on Adobe Photoshop and experimenting with photographs and images. and recreatign them. also like meeting up with my friends for a smoke or a drink or just laffs. mostly for the last one. when i cannto meet them for good i do that on MSN Messenger. l ike watchign pirated films becoz its a kick in the ass for the commercial and formulaic films and i do not want to give money for their copyrighted horse shit. so i love p2p and torrents or any other tool which helps me in my effort to dump the mainstream. alternative is the only way forward for me. i like watching digital and experimental films and will pay double for an independent film than for a conglomerated prodcution house venture.
