edward van halen is the greatist guitarist in rock history. he's held best guitarist and most valuble player from,1978 to 1998. he's held 21 best guitarist and most valuble player awards, 3 les paul awards, (oscars of guitar playing)and in 2000 he was givin the best guitarist and most valuble player of the century award. king edwards style and playing abililty will never be match'd by anyone. lord edward is a true guitar genius and musician.

no this isn't opinion its fact! i'm 48 years old and herd them all,jimi hendrix to jimmy page,jeff beck to eric clapton and yes even stanley jordan,and there all great.BUT!!! EDWARD VAN HALEN HAS GONE BEYOND GREATNESS,EDDIE IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN. JIM REED.

I'm 23, I've heard them too, and I'm telling you it's opinion, not fact. How do you explain "the best"? It's like comparing bands. When you say "Band x is better than band y", you are stating an opinion.
