Hello there, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you need any questions answered about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or drop me a line.

With that said; Do you have permission from the British Dragonfly Society to publish their text here under the terms of the GNU FDL? My concern is with the Dragonfly and Damselfly articles and with this statement I found on the Society's website: "All other content of this site is copyright of the British Dragonfly Society except where explicitly stated otherwise." (such a statement isn't needed to secure copyright BTW). If no permission was granted then either the text will have to be completely rewritten in your own words and organized in your own way or it will have to be deleted to avoid copyright violation. Please respond on my user page soon with an answer.

Please don't let this little snag dampen your enthusiasm for Wikipedia -- At worst the copyright holders could only demand that the material be taken down (that's if they ever noticed). However, we Wikipedians must still do some self-enforcement to preserve the integrity of our copyright, play nice, and if we knowingly allow copyright violations then the project really could get in trouble. In addition, we can't expect others to honor the terms of our copyright if we don't honor the terms of others (if there are not any terms, then the default is that permission must be asked for). Cheers! --maveric149

Coolness! Thanks for doing the needed rewrites. Now Wikipedia has something unique to say about these topics. Happy hacking! --mav

I have no idea how important Dynip is to Sarnia, but ISPs are a lot more important to me than hockey players. To be precise, the ISP is called Canweb; Dynip is one of its services. -phma

Hi, regarding 'Rape of Nanjing' i noticed the massacre site, though, it strikes me as a bit deflating. The Rape of Nanjing is also, as i understand, not just the title of a book, but the term that refers to these events. I say "deflated" because it struck me as unneccessarily different from the colloquial referent, and that massacre is more applicable to the killing of thousands of people over a short time span, and not suited to a campaign of weeks that killed 260k people.--Sv

Your userpage[edit]

Hi Frank, I've undone the your user page redirect because it makes it more difficult for people to access your talk page and contributions from your user page. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 03:47, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
