Combating vandals[edit]

I applaud your efforts in combating vandals. El_C

Will you report this user on vandalism in progress for his/her reverting of Korean Friendship Association. I've tried three times, but my browser keeps freezing when I try to save the page. He/she is just going to continue adding the POV material until he/she is forcefully stopped. Thanks. [[User:Lachatdelarue|Lachatdelarue (talk)]] 02:36, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Ok, it looks alright now. It didn't seem like it was going to stop for minute there. Between the two of us, we reverted that page at least four times. Let's see if this person is content with the content as it is. [[User:Lachatdelarue|Lachatdelarue (talk)]] 02:47, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Confused[edit]

What in the world is the message on your user page about? I was sent, via email, a copy of that message, and I'm not sure who it's from or what it's referring to. Maybe you can clear this up since you seem to be involved somehow. Shrug, I'm lost. CryptoDerk 00:42, Nov 2, 2004 (UTC)

Yeah, the person and I exchanged a few emails. Apparently it was this User talk:64.12.117.13 that they were referring to. I told him/her that I thought it was just a dynamic IP issue, and pointed out the disclaimer at the bottom of the talk page. I also noted that both messages that were used were just standard messages. If you want a copy of the email, send an email to derk@derk.org, otherwise I'll consider it a closed issue (unless the person emails me back again). CryptoDerk 22:04, Nov 2, 2004 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, by Z1720 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:37, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
