I hope you will help me understand your contribution. I have not previously heard of a Type 20/2 pillbox and it seems from the description that you might have in mind something I have previously heard called an Eared pillbox. The reference refers to the Norfolk Historical Environment Record. I've updated the reference to include a link to their site and added some text to indicate the similarity of the type 20/2 to the eared pillbox. The main difference being the angle of the emplacements to each other. The eared pillbox having a shallow angle with the type 20/2 being closer to 90 degrees. FYI I'm the author of the Google Earth Defence of Britain overlay and have seen pretty much every variant pillbox type in existence whilst checking the accuracy of the placemarks in Google Earth. I'm currently in the process of adding sites that are not in the original database but do occur in the National Monument Record and the various online Historical Environment Records. This is how I've learnt about these variants. I've added a link to the Essex Lozenge reference too, there are tens of this type still in existence so I wasn't sure why the comment questioned if it was a recognised type so I deleted it. I'll admit to coining the name but they don't have an official type that I've seen listed so it needs a name to distinguish it from the normal Lozenge pillbox which is Hexagonal rather than Octagonal.Stthomse (talk) 18:31, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Essex lozenge.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Essex lozenge.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
