Is there a better name for this region? "Peruvian coastal plain"? Gwimpey 20:15, 5 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Southwest coastal plain in North America[edit]

I don't think this is correct. I quote from the article: The southwestern coastal plain of North America is notable for its species diversity.

Shouldn't it be southeastern North America? I've never heard of a southwestern coastal plain, unless there's one in California and western Mexico. Then again, where exactly would southwestern North America be (not the southwestern United States); wouldn't it like be in Central America, say somewhere like El Salvador or Panama? This really needs to be more specific, more detail given, and probably even a source cited to please the Wiki police. Shanoman (talk) 06:10, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

is this a typo? I don't understand it[edit]

The article starts with this sentence: "A coastal plain is flat, low-lying land adjacent to a seacostal plain." Is it supposed to read "A coastal plain is flat, low-lying land adjacent to a sea coast"? Because this doesn't appear to make sense as is? I tried looking up "seacostal plain" and found nothing. I'm going to edit it and hope for the best. Ritaxis (talk) 06:10, 29 January 2018 (UTC)Ritaxis[reply]
