His contributions to the net have mostly been in Usenet, where he has written and contributed to FAQ collections on email addressing, newsgroup moderation, and procmail; moderated alt.sex.stories.moderated for two years as an act of civil disobedience while the Communications Decency Act was in effect; and generally popped up here and there over the years.
