This article does not address the new powers of the INS to deport refugees, and should have links to the Cambodian Repatriation Act. This law has seriously affected the Southeast Asian American community.

I agree with the commenter above and would expand the critique to say that this bill has affected all immigrant communities. It is also a stub, quotes the USCIS (rendering this somewhat POV), and quotes that language without citation. But a good beginning. I hope more content is added. Families For Freedom offers a different perspective that others might be able to benefit from if they're adding to this article.

There is a more detailed page dealing with this law entitled: Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. These two pages should probably be merged, and use one of the pages as an explanation of the abbreviation IIRAIRA.
