I just randomly came across a comment you made on User:Uri's page regarding potential copyright on images from the Library of Congress website. Most material produced by the United States government is public domain and therefore free to copy at will, though there are certain exceptions (not to mention stuff that is secret or whatever). However, I think you're safe unless there's an actual copyright notice on the page—and I doubt there'd be one unless the LoC farms out its website operations to a private company (they might, I dunno). Anyway, just scan the web page for any such info... —Mulad 22:44, 14 Jan 2004 (UTC)
