Requested move[edit]

Moving this to Pele (disamgiguation), and directing "Pele" to "Pelé" the football player from Brazil.

The most common reference of the word Pele is the football player Pele, almost universally acknowledged as the greatest Football player ever.

Let us consider it during the next few days and see if a consensus is reached 200.178.22.27 13:49, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pelé, the football player is, by far, the best known subject in that disambiguation list. He is ofthen refered to in English as Pele, instead of Pelé.

In fact, three items in the disambiguation list are named Pele in honor of the Brazilian football player. Asteroid number 2202 is named after him ( http://www.answers.com/topic/list-of-asteroids-named-after-people ), and so are football players Abedi Pele and Pedro Pele. The portuguese word for skin should be searched in Wikipedia in Portuguese. In my oppinion, only the Polynesian goddess and the British pop band are left to consider and, again, in my oppinion, Pele, the football player, is much more relevant than any of them. 200.178.22.27 13:49, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

How to Type the letter é in Pelé ?[edit]

If you want to use "é" instead of "e" in a Pelé, then use these keyboard stroke / keys :
Press "P", "e", "l". Then ...
Alt + 0233 (it means, first press the "Alt" (Alternative/Alternate) key in your keyboard, and keep it pressing with your left hand, then press the digits 0 2 3 3 one by one, in the right-side numeric keypad).
Then you will get Pelé. To make it a linkable name (to goto his article,) use two third brackets at the beginning and end of the name, like this '''Pelé''', then you will get linkable Pelé.
If you want to link to his (English) article through URL, then use below code ...
