Should the death of Brett Darren Thomas be included in this article?[edit]

During a recent visit to the walking track of Mt Bartle Frere I came across a well maintained shrine for Brett Darren Thomas. The only information about him that I could find is from this news article: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-11-16/police-probe-bushwalker-death/3674122.

Here is a photo of the shrine:

Fixed to the tree along the Mt Bartle Frere walking track is a well maintained photograph of a young man and a gold plaque which reads "In loving memoryofBrett Darren Thomas24 Dec 1988 - 15 Nov 2011"

Would it be appropriate to include information about this in this article?
