Possibly unfree File:Romulus and remus.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Romulus and remus.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

The article List of languages by number of native speakers according to two websites has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

lack of 'stable' reliable data, purpose of the article is worth investigating, references may be unacceptable. [...]

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ren 23:21, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of languages by number of native speakers according to two websites, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of languages by number of native speakers according to two websites. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

References for article Dutch phonology[edit]

Hi. From what I can see, it appears that you were the creator / initial editor of this article, Dutch phonology. Is it entirely your own work, or did you use any sources / references? Status of Folding@home article[edit]

Hey there Donar,

I just wanted to let you know that the Folding@home article, which you started, is nearing Good Article status. I believe I've just about finished adding content to it, and am currently focusing on refining the text. You started this article back in late 2003, with the text "Folding@home (Folding at home) is a distributed computing project for home computers." It's gone through many revisions since then, and over the last several months I've been heavily editing and improving it. It now contains extensive information on what the project is, why it is important, what it has accomplished, and many other relevant aspects. Take a look! If you feel so inclined, suggestions or edits would be appreciated. Best, Jessemv (talk) 20:55, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)[edit]

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:14, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for Wikipedia Freeware Picture[edit]

Hello, My name is Duane Hurst and I recently made a free (non-commercial) English web site to share information with people. I added links to your Wikipedia/Wikimedia freeware picture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Plitvice_lakes.JPG). I also gave credit to you on my web pages for your work. Thank you for sharing with the public. My website is:

http://www.freeenglishsite.com/

I add pictures such as yours to one of the following major sections of my site: 1. World section - contains information and over 10,000 images of every world country and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/index.htm

2. USA section - contains information and images of every USA state and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/usa/index.htm

3. English section - "Mel and Wes" lessons in conversation format. Stories are located in various USA states and world countries such as China, England, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Thailand. Each lesson has many slang terms and idioms, which I link to my Slang Dictionary. This eventually will have over 5,000 terms. Currently, it has about 3,000 slang and idioms. I regularly add new lessons and slang terms. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/lessons/index.htm Slang Dictionary link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/slang/Eslang_a.htm

Prior to retirement, I taught English at several private and public universities in the United States.

Please share this free site with your friends. I hope all will enjoy the pictures and find the English information useful. Sincerely,  Duane Hurst in Utah, USA

Orphaned non-free media (File:Femme aux Bras Croisés, Picasso.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Femme aux Bras Croisés, Picasso.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:19, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on International Network of Liberal Women requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Isotopes of Palladium[edit]

In your edit of 11:08, 3 August 2007 of Isotopes of palladium you introduced the link to Santa Clara, California. However, the Santa Clara meteorite was found near Santa Clara, Durango, Mexico, per "Santa Clara". The Meteorological Society. I removed "California" and the spurious link. Ordinarily I wouldn't notify you, but it is striking that this error has persisted for over 8 years. —Anomalocaris (talk) 10:01, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Isotopes of argon[edit]

Hi Donarreiskoffer, some years ago, you wrote in Isotopes of argon that:

"37Ar is created from the decay of 40Ca as a result of subsurface nuclear explosions."

I think this is not true. 37Ar is created by the nuclmear reaction 40Ca(n,alpha)37Ar which is not a spallation reaction. Could you confirm? 132.165.76.2 (talk) 08:57, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wijziging titel lemma "Oud Postkantoor" (Gent)[edit]

Dag Donnar,

Jan — Preceding unsigned comment added by JAN52 (talkcontribs) 09:02, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
