Good to see you here. I thought I'd suggest to you that your extensive defense in "A Dangerous Church" is actually so long (after so brief a charge against the LDS Church) that I think it gives too much credence to what really is an opinion of a small minority of Americans. I respect and understand your desire to defend your faith and the church that embodies that faith, but I would politely suggest that trimming back your comments in that section a bit might actually be to the LDS Church's benefit. For example, your comment about LDS ministers reading the letter reminding members that the LDS Church doesn't endorse candidates -- I'd leave it out. Putting it in implies that, without constant reminders, LDS members would assume that the LDS Church was endorsing candidates openly. I hope you understand, and don't take offense. Business law topics

I find your re-ordering of the business entity section of the list of business law topics confusing. It originally included links to the various forms of legal entities, for example, corporations, partnerships, trusts, cooperatives, etc. All the general principles that were not specific to one of these forms of ownership were in the main part of the list. Now I see that you have deleted cooperatives, included general legal principles like agency theory and fiduciary duty as a subcategory of legal entities, and made partnership a subcategory of fiduciary duty. Colorado River system

Your addition of the list of Colorado River features to the article on Glen Canyon Dam is valuable. I notice, though, that there's no category in the list for the large and important reservoirs created by the dams -- Lake Powell and Lake Mead. Shouldn't they be included in a comprehensive listing of important features of this river system? There are entries for their associated National Recreation Areas, but in each case the reservoir itself is an entity different from the NRA. (Lake Powell already has a separate article. I think Lake Mead should have one, instead of just redirecting to the Hoover Dam.) JamesMLane 10:00, 13 May 2004 (UTC)

Not likely: I've no kids yet, and I'd rather have a good poke in the eye than be in a bishopric. I haven't, but probably need to. Maybe soon, like next week. I thought of going to Mexico City this summer. Have you? This is a good time of year to get away from the heat in the Valley of the Sun. Flagstaff is nice this time of year. It seemed like my family (wife, kids, and I) hadn't gone on any "summer vacations" for ages. But last week we went up to Wyoming to do odd jobs for my Dad-in-law. I'm not sure that qualifies as a vacation, but at least we got our three kids out of their element and had a chance for the Astro Van to break down three times. It was enough of a break that I took three days getting back in the swing of things. Wyoming and Utah are tempting in June, but my good old hot Gilbert garage sure felt like home on Saturday night when I pulled in. What might you do in Mexico? Vas a visitar a conocidos? Weird! That sounds like it would be a fun trip. My little sister and I were going to do a Mexico trip the summer I met my wife, but with marriage preps and all, it never happened. I haven't been back to Mexico since my 1985 to 1987 mission in Veracruz, Puebla, and Oaxaca. There are lots of neat things to see in Mexico. I think Joseph L. Allen's book on Book of Mormon Archaeology would be neat to read just before a visit to Mexico. It isn't as scholarly as John Sorenson's, but it has a nice folksy touch and seems like it would be a good "tour guide". There are so many discoveries and artifacts in southern Mexico it is overwhelming. I wish I had the luxury to do a little visiting when I was in Mexico. There were a few zone trips to Maya and Olmec ruins, but that was about it. Tom 15:13, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)
