It would be nice to see some more information on St Andronik, since he was a martyr.

Agreed.

With keywords Andronik and Permi google shows seven pages; most of them are written in Russian I suppose. Following Japanese source his full name was Andronik Nikolisky, but I couldn't make it sure with other language sources. Anyone is there who can help us? --Aphaea 12:41, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Russian Orthodox Church and OCA[edit]

"After the war instead of the Russian Orthodox Church the precursors of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) helped re-invigorate the Japanese Orthodox Church. ... Later, as the situation of the Orthodox Church improved in Russia, the Japanese Orthodox Church came under their leadership again." Agreed, but this does not include the nuance that the "precursors" of the OCA, the Metropolia, was primarily the Russian Orthodox Church. Also, in 1970, the year of the glorification of St Nikolai, the ROC granted autonomy to both the JOC and the OCA, which autonomy is not recognized by Constantinople. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 03:08, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orthodox Church in Japan (Moscow Patriarchate) → Orthodox Church in Japan – Procedural nomination. Page was moved by User:Veverve, reverted by User:Ahonc and again moved by User:Veverve. Restore original page title Orthodox Church in Japan by lack of adequate motivation to rename. As there is apparently no other Orthodox Church in Japan there is no possibility of being mistaken.
