Well, it is not clear to me if this Retrodiction is related to parapsycology (in which case I don't think we should add that "This is useful in, for example, the fields of archaeology, evolutionary biology, forensic science, and cosmology", because it is pseudoscience) or as the validation of a scientific model. I don't really understand the confusion; the text seems to me to make it clear that the alternative term "postdiction" is sometimes used in parapsychology, and the subject of the current article shouldn't be confused with that. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 20:14, 4 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
