Wikipedia and Notability[edit]

I personally have some reservations about the article:

The use of the word sub-culture. Are the numbers of users of the gardens sufficient enough to allow them to have a seperate listing?

Do the kids themselves describe the area as Cathedral Gardens? Is not the prefered word Urbis?

Is the article a stub now and needs expanding?

In terms of notability, I strongly suggest that you remove the word sub-culture. 300 hundred kids hanging about a particular area does not entitle them to a listing as a sub-culture. I will not tag the article at the moment, but other editors will definately look at it and question its removal from the Urbis article to new article Manchester Cathedral Gardens Subculture. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. Manchester Cathedral Gardens Subculture[edit]

Hello,

I'm a little concerned that Manchester Cathedral Gardens Subculture may be a breach of some core policies and principles of Wikipedia, namely those on attributation, reliable sources, and original research.

The article makes some sweeping and exceptional claims, of which the three sources provided do not assert themselves. In this capacity, I'm inclined to have this article deleted, but if you can improve the article in the very-short term so it meets the standards outlined in the links above, I will of course reconsider this.
