Schloezer’s most important innovation, however, was his suggestion to count backwards from the birth of Jesus Christ. 3987 BC[edit]

The article states an assumed creation date of 3987 BC. Where was this taken from? It looks similar to James Ussher's calculation, but it's not quite the same. -- Anon.
