Untitled[edit]

Here's a thought. Since the majority of railroads listed in this category are fallen flags, should we maybe add a subcategory for them and leave the still active railroads here in this category? I've already created four new pages that fit into the current Railway companies of the United States category, but three of them qualify as fallen flags (the exception being Wisconsin and Southern) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slambo (talkcontribs) 15:14, September 23, 2004‎

Disappearin' Rail Road Blues[edit]

So I reckon Arlo Guthrie was right! The Illinois Central disappeared completely! I know the ICRR got gobbled up by CNIC when purchased by Canadian National But i can't find them here either? What's up with that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quinobi (talkcontribs) 01:13, September 30, 2004‎

Companies? What about the lines?[edit]

Why is this the only category in the "Railway lines" series that is listed in that category as "Railway companies"? Was there some discussion about why the US is unique? Chadlupkes (talk) 18:10, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
