Is this image PD? Can Anyone confirm this?

I believe the US Library of Congress owns the negative. The LOC number is LC-USZ62-6166-A (LC-USZ62 prefix indicates a black and white negative) --FranksValli 09:49, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Even as a FA image, is it of concern that this image's slightly cropped?--Kjmoran 01:50, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is older than 92 years old, so it is not covered by coppyright law any more, correct? 76.190.206.44 03:49, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, age alone isn't the determination of copyright. However, for this image, the Library of Congress says there are no restrictions on use, which means yes, it's not copyrighted anymore. howcheng {chat} 07:15, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But in this particular case, age clearly is the determining factor. I've modified the copyright tag accordingly.--Pharos 07:29, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
