While there's a lot of good information in both articles, it looks like they both have "History" sections covering about the same thing, and the article about the island even has a section about its government (i.e. what one would assume is the wheelhouse of the article baout the city). You kind of hate to see it... { } 12:59, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jacob Gotts:: Agree that there is good content on both pages. The options seem to be re-arranging the content or merging. On balance, I support the merge on the grounds that the distinction between the articles is sufficiently subtle that they are best discussed in one place.
