Russia[edit]

Self-nomination. You may support, object or comment on it. --Cheung1303 06:22, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

  • Object. No references. Intro needs to be edited for style (e.g. use of the word "notable"). No history before 1917. External links need to be scrutinized. Rhobite 06:52, Jan 10, 2005 (UTC)
  • Object, agree with Rhobite's concerns. My objection on the Singapore article (see below) also holds true for this article. Neutralitytalk 07:09, Jan 13, 2005 (UTC)
  • Object. I filled in (loosely) fifteen or twenty centuries of history, but the same huge flaw lies in other sections as well. You can't just say "see Culture of Russia" without covering SOME of this area in the main article. It also seems a stretch to say the geography of Russia is "best" described as 1. the tiny "exclave" around Kaliningrad, and 2. everything else. Sounds like one of those ego-centric posters where they put one's little town in the foreground and blend the rest of the known world into the background. BTW, the linked "history of Russia" section didn't add much. Sfahey 05:10, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)
  • Object. No information about Yakov Smirnoff. Superking 21:54, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)
