Can you please change that photo of Fredrik to a jpg or, if you can, a png? Bmp is not an appropriate format for Wikipedia. And the picture is entirely too large. RickK 05:43, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)

User:Danuas uploads copyrighted images into Wikipedia. One such file (Image:Org.jpg) is now deleted after having been listed on Wikipedia:Copyright problems for a week; however, there are more images of the same status: Image:Frederik IX.jpg, Image:Prince Joachim.jpg, Image:Princess Alexandra.jpg, perhaps more. Like Image:Org.jpg, they have been copied from http://www.kongehuset.dk - though that site makes it very clear (and in two languages) that the images are copyrighted.

Thank you for uploading Image:Gyandendar-royaldress.jpg. Please leave a note on that page about where you got the image because of copyright law. If you have any questions, just leave a message on my talk page. --Ellmist 03:15, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading the image

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the image and I'll tag it for you. Thanks, Kbh3rd 01:44, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Frederik VIII.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Frederik VIII.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih 14:13, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Christian 4. af Danmark, malet af Pieter Isaacsz 1611-1616.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Christian 4. af Danmark, malet af Pieter Isaacsz 1611-1616.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:50, 1 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CBS Sport Rugby requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Travelbird (talk) 07:27, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
