When making this page it was not, nor is it, my intent to tell people HOW to "pin" a tree. It was and is my intent only to tell people WHAT "tree pinning" is. This holds true to for billboarding and ecodefense: purely descriptive, nothing more. Desertphile 06:03 13 Jul 2003 (UTC)

What's the difference between tree spiking and tree pinning?

Exactly my question also. This article tells nothing about what exactly "Tree pinning" is, I've just read the Tree spiking article, and it seems to accurately describe what it is. The same cannot be said about this article, it really needs some improvement, so I've added an Expansion template to it. --Hibernian 02:19, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
