mmmkay. Civil law, Criminal law... constitutional law. Corrupt officials who directly violate constitution law. Encumbents. Start a project.

I find reading Wikipedia to be very time consuming. A friend once called me an information whore. Am I a borderline addict, sublimating TV with hours of aimless hyperlinking?

I was proud to have my TV watching cut down to one regular series that I just loved - Gilmore Girls. It took me long time and lots of determination. Okay, Buffy the Vampire Slayer going off the air, and Angel getting too hokey, was more than a little responsible for making this achievable in my life. But I really did it, after some time, and I was proud of it too! I could finally do something else with my life!

Then, a relative deciding that TiVo would make a good gift ruined that for me, and sucked me in harder than before. 40 Hours of storage just wasn't enough, and I felt obligated to keep up - I was forced to watch just so that there would be room to record upcoming shows.

After keeping a list, I was able to remove almost every episode up to, and including most of Stargate SG-1 season 7, just so that I could start watching (and deleting) the spin off Stargate Atlantis in proper context. Now that that is (more or less)done, I was caught up with a project to archive Good Eats to VHS - and I have yet to actually use any of that knowledge to prepare myself a decent meal! I finally had to physically remove myself from the accursed Tivo. I have purchased a chef's knife, and a slowly moving toward earning practical knowledge from my glut of theory and instruction, but I still have a way to go... a probe thermometer and cutting board are still required before I actually buy my first raw steak.

Now I am tending to find sleep and socialization less important than browsing the web. It isn't Teevee watching eating up more than my spare time anymore. But actually having enough resources available for my computer to actually do any useful work, in between my web broswer waiting for me to release it from its numerous open instances... it's a problem.

Well it was very nice to meet you, but I have to be going. These 80-some firefox tabs (split among different browser windows) aren't going to close themselves!

I should really remove the above personal garbage, and use this space to discuss interesting Wikipedia pages. Maybe I'll do that someday. The worst part about cooking steak I find, is the smoke, because my apartment has no ventilation to speak of. But just in case some web spider decides that any of the above nonsense is worth skimming, a brief update might be useful. That is, until I get around to removing the above nonsense.

Interesting wikipedia pages should be listed here, instead of clogging up my browser's bookmarks, right? kind of like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Benjamin_Mako_Hill does it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colleges_That_Change_Lives http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narrative_evaluation Kennestone_Hospital lyrebird
