Notable Residents[edit]

Notable means people have heard of them - I live one town away from Bedford and they're news to me. I will delete them again, but perhaps the anon could provide a good explanation for returning and maintaining them (preferably one without "morons" - wikipedia isn't Usenet). One way of doing this is to turn them into wikipedia links, then follow them, thus creating a page for that person, where their biography details could be placed. - DavidWBrooks 17:25, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

"Chyna" not "China"

I believe they are referring to the former pro wrestler Joanie Laurer, who went by the name Chyna. She's actually from Londonderry, but she might have a house in Bedford. 208.5.197.130 21:13, 28 October 2005

Speaking as someone who has been and will be adding notable residents to this page, as well as others, I hope that providing a reference to indicate that they already qualify as noted will prevent their deletion. Such listings as these can also provide a way to provide "virtual stubs" for those people who do qualify as notable but do not yet have their own pages. I am in the process of myself creating or adding to the lists of people from virtually everywhere, which takes up rather a lot of time and at this point precludes creating pages on each and every name I find. Added citation for Seth Meyers[edit]

Added a citation. I think anyone who is familiar with Bedford knows that the Meyers family is pretty established in the town, but thanks to his mother's recent retirement from teaching French in the Bedford public school system (and subsequent appearance of Seth for the establishment of a foundation in her mother's name), a slew of articles have been written backing up this point. — Devin.chaloux (chat) 15:56, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
