Page-specific[edit]

Lukobe says: Hey, thanks for zapping 11th Avenue in Roosevelt, Seattle, Washington. You're right--the arterial turns from 11th to 12th right at the southern boundary of Roosevelt, at Ravenna Blvd.

Listing on Vfd (conversations)[edit]

Thanks for the note on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion. The section of Wikipedia:Deletion policy that you referred to was talking about agreeing and disagreeing with deletion requests that had already been made. You only need to add a page to Vfd if you think it should be deleted. (Or, come to think of it, if you've undeleted a page and think your undeletion might be controversial.) I've rewritten the section here. See if you think that's any clearer, and if not, let me know... -- Oliver P. 05:49, 14 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I've changed Wikipedia:Deletion policy again so that the bit about reasoning is back near the top. You can edit the page yourself, if you think it would be better arranged differently. It's not protected. :) For information about duplicate articles, have a look at Wikipedia:Duplicate articles. It's got some advice on what can be done with them, and a list to which you can add articles that need merging. -- Oliver P. 09:08, 14 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Duchy of Pinica &c.[edit]

It is inaccurate to describe Imperial Post as "local" as its activities have not only occurred in Houghton and Hancock, Michigan and the Copper Country Mall, but in Concord, New Hampshire; St. Louis Park, Minnesota; New York City and Moscow. --Daniel C. Boyer 16:41, 19 Mar 2004 (UTC)

On VfD, you asked about the process for moving an article to Wiktionary. Here is the link describing the process - m:Transwiki. Having said that, I've never done it successfully myself. It's a pretty cumbersome process still. I usually just log in to Wiktionary in a separate window, then cut and paste and trust that someone else will clean up after me. That doesn't sound very responsible when I write it out, but it's the best I've been able to manage. Rossami

Hi!

I am not particularly interested in Iron Cross receivers, I just happened to stumble over Hans Rudel, and tried to fix a few non-perfections. It's fun to see that someone else (from the Special:Recentchanges page?) took a fancy in continuing where I'd stopped. ;-))

VFD - List of cities in Niue[edit]

It looks like you added a comment on that subject to the Wyatt Halliwell discussion. I'd suggest moving it before some jerk like me makes a smartass comment about it. -- Cyrius 04:54, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)

Hydroplane racing[edit]

The link in hydroplane racing goes to a page about airplanes that can land on water. Is this what you meant? Confused, Meelar 01:40, 29 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Nuria Juncosa[edit]

Well, thanks for the kind words. First, I would list Nuria Juncosa on vfd, mentioning the related pages as well. If it's kept, the text from those two can be copy-and-pasted into the main article, and then deleted. Yours, and best of luck, Meelar 04:23, 29 Mar 2004 (UTC)

P.S. Nice find

Oh, okay then, never mind.  :) RickK | Talk 04:06, 1 Apr 2004 (UTC)

VfD tricks[edit]

To add an entry that has spaces you must change them to underscores like this: {{msg:VfD-Russel_E_Kun}} - Tεxτurε 04:49, 1 Apr 2004 (UTC)
