1872 - Wanderers F.C. win the first ever FA Cup Final --Ben davison 18:08, 17 Mar 2005 (UTC)

The FA Cup
The FA Cup
Thank you for the suggestion. I think this is a good topic to feature on the MainPage. For next year, please add the date to FA Cup or expand Wanderers F.C.. The featured page (bolded) needs to have the date mentioned in the text and must not be a stub. The Oval has the date, but I'd rather feature either FA Cup or Wanderers F.C. Thanks. -- PFHLai 21:02, 2005 Mar 17 (UTC)
P.S. Is there a better image of the FA Cup available -- without the beer logos at the back ?

FA Cup now mentions the date. Expanding Wanderers F.C. may be more difficult, so it would be easier to feature the FA Cup page. --Ben davison 14:10, 7 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. We'll probably re-visit this next year in early March. -- PFHLai 14:22, 2005 May 8 (UTC)
I wish Image:Littletinidol.jpg were in the public domain, then it can be used here. -- PFHLai 18:19, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}} Can the name of the oil tanker (Amoco Cadiz) be italicized per WP:SHIPNAME? The page is protected by the Main Page's cascade protection. Thanks, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 19:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. --- RockMFR 19:19, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Milltown Cemetery attack – The current wording is "an Ulster Defence Association man attacked the funeral of three Provisional IRA volunteers". For the sake of neutrality, I think we should use the same term for each of them, preferably member(s). Or we could just say that "loyalist Michael Stone attacked the funeral…"

It must be an Irish thing because I don't see how the original wording is not neutral. However, I have nothing against the proposed rewording either, so I put that in. howcheng {chat} 02:57, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
