Language[edit]

Is it really true that, in English, "Danish language" and "Danish tongue" refer to different periods of the language? Marnanel 01:44, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

Probably, "dönsk tunga" in old norse were used in a particular time period...

"proper Arabic name"?[edit]

I've hidden the "Danish, a proper Arabic name" bullet from the page mainly because it doesn't make sense (to me, anyways). It's highly possible the person who wrote that was trying to say "Danish" is also an Arabic name (as with Urdu), but at this point I don't know enough Arabic names to confirm this. --3345345335534 02:00, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why this is removed every time?

  • Danish, an Urdu word, pronounce as "thaa-nish". Commonly used as a name in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Because we don't list foreign language words in English Wikipedia. Jim Michael (talk) 15:42, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
