No article?[edit]

I added this article after finding nothing linked to an entry on the List of Marvel Comics characters page. If Betty already has an entry under a different title, then this title should probably redirect to it, or the link on the characters page needs to be changed.

Relationship with Doc Sampson[edit]

Was reading the Doc Sampson page and it says that she and him had a fling, yet I find no mention of that here. Given the reaction that Banner is supposed to have had to this, it seems like a fairly important thing to be mentioned, though I never read the stories, and so don't feel competent to place this in the right order.

Reply: This happened in Bruce Jones' critically panned run on Hulk. Peter David's ret-con was to suggest that everything that happened during this time was a product of Nightmare's doing.

Deceased?[edit]

The reference to Betty being deceased is a line of dialogue in World War Hulk #3, right? Just because Thunderbolt Ross thinks Betty is deceased, doesn't mean he is right.Rumor has it she is the She Rulk and Talbot the Hulk based on their resurrection. Should this line stay in the bio? At the end of Tempest Fugit resurrected Betty was clearly shown as a creation of Nightmare's. It seems highly unlikely that she wouldn't have contacted her father by now othervise. Given two current references it should stay unless she shows up again. Just like the Bruce Jones run references should stay despite the circumstances apparently being rewritten. Tempest Fugit[edit]

I have recently read this book and cannot think of any moment when Nightmare specifically states that he manipulated the situation of Betty's ressurection. I don't believe he even heavilily eludes to it. He mentions that he did manipulate situations but I don't remember him stating anything specific about the latter.

Merge discussion.[edit]

This week's comics revealed the identities of Red Hulk and Red She Hulk. So I'm starting merge discussions for the pairs of articles that are now officially shown to be about the same character. Personally, given that the paired articles are indeed about the same character, I'm not sure why they would *not* be properly merged. - TexasAndroid (talk) 00:27, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge The reasons are self-evident, I think. It's standard with all other articles on characters that have had multiple identities, like Hank Pym. The same should be done with Thunderbolt Ross and Red Hulk. Nightscream (talk) 04:47, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image issues[edit]

Sherulk.jpg, the current infobox image has one or more issues in regard to the non-free content criteria policy, non-free content guidelines, and/or Comics Project infobox image guidelines. These issue(s) are:

Iconic/most recognizable look - The intent of the infobox image is to use the visual representation most associated with the subject of the article. The current image is either an obscure version of the subject or a "New or soon to be used" look.

While the Red She-Hulk is the current look for the character, it isn't the look most associated with the character over its 45+ history.

Please keep in mind that image taken from source like DC's Who's Who or Marvel's Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe cannot be used within the article.

The issue with regard to the infobox image has been addressed.

Tenser, said the Tensor[edit]

The fictional biography was an Incredible Mishmash of past and present tense, e.g.,

General Ross is seriously injured when the Hulk ran amok.

Believing Banner to be lost forever to her as a potential husband, Betty married Glenn Talbot. While Betty and Talbot were on their honeymoon, her father is captured and sent to a Soviet prison.

It was also full of run-on sentences and sentences that ran on too long, like

As the Bi-Beast hits the self-destruct button as a last resort, the Hulk turns back to Banner and goes to search for Betty, he finds her in the equipment and she still hasn't turned back to normal, thinking that it didn't work, nevertheless he grabs her and they make a run for it as the island falls apart.

I've unified the verbs to past tense and made the sentences walk in line.

The last paragraph of the fictional biography, in Red She-Hulk's section, really belongs more with publication history, but I'm not the one to filter it in.

Appearance in Captain America (1941) #1[edit]
