Fair use rationale for Image:Vancouver.gif[edit]

Image:Vancouver.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The Giants[edit]

Hi, You keep editing the Vancouver Giants wiki page. You keep removing one of the owners. Please check the official giants page before you remove again, or just search up news articles from the past, as you can see, the name you keep removing has been an owner since the start. http://web.archive.org/web/20030517023754/http://chl.ca/WHLNews0102/sep20_whl.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.50.66.67 (talkcontribs)

Thank you for providing your sources. You should add them each time you make an edit to Wikipedia. Flibirigit (talk) 16:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Claude Noel[edit]

What is Noel's status with the Giants. Is he the Giants coach, or not? According to the Giants official website, he's no longer coach. GoodDay (talk) 18:02, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Diacritics[edit]

When I add in the missing diacritics at French Wikipedia, I get thanked. When I do it here, I get screwed. Time to catch the heck up, English Wikipedia! It's "Milan Lučić" — CÉDRIC TSÄN CANTONAIS SAYS NO TO I.P. EDITS! 19:54, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As you should be. They're not used in English, except in cases of hypercorrection. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 20:25, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and it's "Milan Lucic". What's your source for the version with diacritics? I imagine I can find ten for every on you find. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 23:27, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
