why[edit]

why did you revert me? Gabrielsimon 13:06, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"critics claim" (which you spelt wrong) without any other info is a useless (and i would argue, POV) addition to an article. you could say "critics claim" after virtually any statement on a topic that controversial.

spelling errors when they are close like that are not jusitificatipon for removal, maybe fixing spelling, but not removal. as for the claim itself, i pherased it that way to try top say it in an encyclopedic manner. try looking for the article that says assume good faith. Gabrielsimon 13:13, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

if you notice, your line has been reverted by numerous other people before . therefore it should be apparent that your addition is not considered valid. the word is "claim" by the way, not "slaim".

so all your doing is jumping on other peoples bandwagons... way to show origionality! Gabrielsimon 13:18, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Avoid_weasel_terms there, i have cited the exact reason i reverted you, which is the same reason the other people reverted you. i am not "jumping on a bandwagon" i am simply editing where i see needed editing, sorry if it offended you. this sort of thing is becoming comon,. and its gtting a little aggravating is all. Gabrielsimon 13:33, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

Hey. Thanks for adding the infobox to It's Hard to Find a Friend. I have created more album pageswhich need the same, if you're feeling feisty. Many of them are listed at my user page. What exactly is the process for album images as far as copyright is involved? I'd like to start adding info boxes, but I need some guidance. Thanks again.--Hraefen 15:56, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

heya, no problem. yeah i'll probly take on some more of those. copyrightwise it seems using an album cover in an article about the album falls clearly under fair use. when you upload an image to wikipedia there's a dropdown to choose the copyright status, and there's an albumcovers one you can choose which automatically attributes it correctly, really quite easy. i get my album images from amazon but i'm sure there are plenty of other places to find them. Fair use rationale for Image:Motion_sickness_cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Motion_sickness_cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 11:31, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of VistaVision films, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page We're No Angels. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
