1. Advertising 2. Not a proper encyclopedic entry

Will surely lead to a tit-for-tat war from competitors before long - let's nip it in the bud now before the war starts.

If we delete this entry, then we should also delete hundreds of more articles on companies (Microsoft? D-Link? Trauma Studios?). ComOpt is a small but very successful niche company in the mobile communications business. It was I who added this article, and yes -- I work for the company in question. If you don't like the text, rewrite it! Wikipedia is about rewriting other peoples articles until they reach a "perfect" state. Go ahead! The proper question to ask ourselves is how deep we want Wikipedia to go? If we remove small companies, then we clearly should remove small towns as well, right? And how about people, how well-known does a person have to be to fit here? abelson 08:25, Nov 1, 2004 (UTC)

We made a decision (which some of us opposed, but we made it) that geographic locations recognized by their respective national governments qualify as notable, however small they are. We have never made a similar decision about companies, schools, things someone had for dinner once, etc. Delete. -- Jmabel | Talk 00:36, Nov 2, 2004 (UTC)
