Comment[edit]

Should this person be on Wikipedia? We have almost no info on him, and he has no personal claim to fame. --SqueakBox 23:57, Feb 16, 2005 (UTC)

He's the presumed father of one of the twentieth century's most influential people and therefore interesting in as far as he may have had some bearing on Stalin's life. Seems notable enough for me. Lisiate 01:11, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

If he had bearings on Stalin's life the article should be merged into Stalin. I have tried to give him a posthumous reputation. SqueakBox 17:04, Feb 17, 2005 (UTC)

In Montefiore's Young Stalin, there is quite information about Vissarion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andres68 (talkcontribs) 21:31, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birth and Death[edit]

I have removed this article from the categories "1850 births" and "1890 deaths". This is speculation as it is not known exaclty when he was born and died.--Fox Mccloud 19:19, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
