birth[edit]

I am sorry about the mess with birth locations and dates. IMDb and several others say it he was 77 when he died, others 74. They also give differing birth locations. Hopefully someone will have an authorative reference. Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 22:13, 27 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

The California Death Register has May 17 1920 in New Jersey.

Love Makes the World Go Round[edit]

Citing this title (note lack of ' before Round) with Merrill's 40s and 50s pop hits is incorrect. It comes from his Broadway era. It was written for Carnival, and in any case is from 1961. Fred Lane 21:40, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
