Official Number of Triples[edit]

Other sources cite Crawford's record as 312 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Major_League_Baseball_players_with_100_triples, http://www.baseballlibrary.com/ballplayers/player.php?name=Sam_Crawford_1880). This is what I remember seeing for as long as I can remember. Could someone confirm or at least document the source being used for that statistic? fish (talk) 22:57, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
