"it mistakenly asserted that she had not released any albums since "Martika's Kitchen"."

But the Album listing DOESN'T list any new albums after that - only the two compilations. Clarification required. Lee M 17:13, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

She has released two albums as lead singer of the band "Oppera," which it says fairly clearly. Pacian 20:16, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

2005-12-02, Punar1: The article says "Matika also performed her song, "I believe in the beat" in the movie Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo."

All sources I can find on the net say that this song was sung by Carol Lynn Townes. If someone knows for sure, please add some info about it.

2006-02-07, Punar1: I removed the statement "Matika also performed her song, "I believe in the beat" in the movie Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo." because both Discogs.com and an old casette with the Breakin'2 soundtrack agree with me.

"Her first album, 1988's Martika, spawned the song"[edit]

That doesn't look like a good way to put it, in my view. It sounds almost like the album inspired her to write the song (Toy Soldiers). --95.34.5.239 (talk) 16:51, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
