Kevin Bacon went to Parkway Program High School in Philadelpha. He attended their Beta unit at 21 South 21st street, which was at the corner of 21st and Ranstead. His principal at the time was Julius C Bennett. His homeroom/Tutorial teacher were Julius Reeves and Reverend Dorothy Watson Tatem. Parkway Beta's 1976 yearbook has a picture of Kevin in the book. Kevin Bacon high school[edit]

Kevin Bacon attended the Society Hill Playhouse Theater Program for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia in the Fall 1974. He earned high school credit and performed the lead role in "The Serpent". Suggestion ... for avoiding exaggeration in a certain template [instance][edit]

The status quo (now)[edit]

This comment is based upon (the "Awards and nominations" section of) the [currently] 'Latest revision as of 18:31, 10 January 2020' version of the article. (However, most of what it says here has apparently been true for years; ["!"]; going back to October 2017.)

Currently [see above for the details of which specific version I looked at], the {{BLP unsourced section}} template instance (in the wiki-text) -- right at the beginning of the "Awards and nominations"] section of the article -- still says:

{{BLP unsourced section|date=October 2017}}

...which expands to (something like) THIS:

the word "any" there, is an exaggeration (now)[edit]

IMHO every word of that -- [what that template instance says] -- may well be true, except for the word "any". Probably -- most likely! -- some editors have worked diligently, since October 2017, to improve the situation by adding "some" -- (admittedly, maybe not enough ["yet"]!) -- of the needed "references or sources".

What should * * * not * * * be done[edit]

Since there may well be room for "more" improvement, I am not "at this time" recommending the major step of removal [now] of the template instance (in the wiki-text) that says "{{BLP unsourced section|date=October 2017}}".

What I "am" saying[edit]

I am just noting, for the record, that because of the harsh language used in that template -- specifically, the use of the word any [as opposed to, (let's say), the word enough] -- it has become an [instance of] exaggeration. (Granted, maybe it was not an exaggeration [yet] in October 2017; but, ... that was then, and this is now.)

What should be done [e.g.][edit]

I am not sure whether there already exists an alternate template (or, maybe some [optional?] "parameter" for this template? -- that is, for the "{{BLP unsourced section}}" template) that would allow the displayed box to say "enough" instead of "any"; ... that is, to say

This section of a biography of a living person does not include enough references or sources [...]

instead of saying

This section of a biography of a living person does not include any references or sources [...]

; but if not, then IMHO there should be a way to do that (a way to cause it to say that).

If an alternate template is being considered, then maybe it could be called "{{BLP weakly sourced section}}" or "{{BLP insufficiently sourced section}}" ... or something like that.

If an [optional] "parameter" is being considered, then maybe it could be called "any-enough", and it could have a default value of "any" ... in which case, the use of a command such as "|any-enough=enough" (or whatever the command should be, to override the default [value]) could be optional, to be used only when someone wanted the expanded instance of the template to say "[...] does not include enough [...]" instead of "[...] does not include any [...]".

Please forgive my ignorance, and [feel free to] enlighten me -- (clue me in!) -- if there is already such an alternate template, and/or an [optional] "parameter" like "any-enough" ... that I do not yet know about.

Planes Trains and Automobiles (1987)[edit]
