Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

Smallest County?[edit]

I found the claim that this is the smallest county (since San Juan County is often considered to be smallest based on its land area) very misleading. As such I changed the wording so it says "smallest county (by total area)." I also added (as clarification) that it is the third-smallest county in land area. 71.125.86.230 (talk) 00:08, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chief Wahkiakum[edit]

Chief Wahkiakum, the namesake of the county, lacks his own article. However, his name is in the introduction to this article; such "red links" in the introduction are discouraged by Wikipedia policy. If anyone can find enough information to create an article for Chief Wahkiakum it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 71.125.86.230 (talk) 00:16, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

I notice that history sections are generally not incorporated into county articles. However, the official Wahkiakum County website (linked to in the article) has historical information, some of which is not included in the Cathlamet article, sometimes because it is not applicable. Where is the appropriate place for such information? 71.125.86.230 (talk) 00:21, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Political Leanings: Relevant or Irrelevant?[edit]

Would information about the political leanings of the county be relevant to this article? Perhaps it is irrelevant given the county's small population. 71.125.86.230 (talk) 00:24, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
