Comment[edit]

I am not sure that I like the "primarily used for" wording, which sounds a bit Britocentric and possessive to me, or at least that it might be viewed in such a way by some people. I was wondering about changing it but, I hope, not losing the flavour or causing any restructuring etc. Any views? Nevilley 17:50, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure it's that, but the wording is very awkward. —Morven 18:49, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Reworded it - better? —Morven 00:28, 15 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, much better, well done! Nevilley 00:19, 16 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Bristol tractors are missing, as well as the car maker Bristol who make coachbuilt motor cars, think they have a London show room. BulldozerD11 (talk) 03:32, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge banner[edit]

A merge banner was placed by User:Bearcat in May 2010 suggesting that List of places called Bristol should be merged here. There has been no discussion, not even a rationale by the proposer, so I am removing the banner. Jezhotwells (talk) 00:24, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move?[edit]

This might be better as Bristol, and the Bristol UK page as "Bristol, UK" as is common for most cities. 212.219.94.138 (talk) 11:10, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
