June Whitfield role as mother[edit]

"The series also stars June Whitfield in a supporting role as Edina's dotty, sarcastic, and often thieving mother who appears in nearly every episode." Seems harsh. Often she is the only voice of reason.Cross Reference (talk) 19:07, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Location shoots on film?[edit]

I see no evidence of this. The series is available on BBC catch up and all of the location scenes that I saw from a random sampling of episodes was shot on 576i video. It's possible the previous editor saw the show on Netflix, who de-interlace all their material to 25p making the difference between film and video footage difficult to discern. There's no source I can find (and none is used) to support the claim the location shoots were done on film, therefore the default should be that the whole series was shot on video as was usual practice in the 90s.
