Hello, I see you are adding external links to several pages. I am sorry, but I am going to remove several of them, and I am going to ask you to review WP:COI (you seem to be connected to the site), WP:EL (links seem in violation of this guideline), WP:NOT (a.o. not a repository of links) WP:SPAM (not strictly appropriate, though you seem to add links without explanation) and WP:A (which I expect to be OK), and probably also other policies and guidelines on wikipedia. If you have questions, please ask them here, at my talkpage, or at one of the talkpages (WT:EL, e.g.). Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:09, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Agglomeration do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Dirk Beetstra T C 13:17, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Paris. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Kyra... Thank you for the note. Had been unaware of the policy, which I would not have violated had I been aware of it.

Show preview button[edit]

I see you've made a plethora of changes to the Greater Los Angeles Area article. However, you pressed the Save page button each time instead of the Show preview button for intermediate changes. Using the preview button for small changes (until you're all done) allows other editors to more quickly and accurately see what you've changed. For more information, please see Help:Show preview. Thank you. —Brien ClarkTalk 06:48, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
