Expanded article[edit]

In line with my efforts on the three preceding Attenborough articles, Life on Earth, The Living Planet and The Trials of Life, I have started to expand this article. I realise that nowhere near as much work is required on the episode summaries, but I would like to either lengthen or shorten them to give each a consistent appearance (eight lines on a 1280 x 1024 monitor) as per the other articles. (I don't intend to remove the pictures.) I hope this is okay. Chris 42 23:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Do we really need two fair use images from the documentary? The one of the seal should be enough I think. There's nothing spectacular about the emperor penguins one, and we could add one or two free content pictures to go with the two fair use ones (the second being the DVD cover). I have removed the penguin photo; I don't think it would ever make FA with that many fair use claims. The one showing filming is good and I have moved it to the 'background' section, leaving room for some free use images which I will probably add myself.
