NEW CEO[edit]

MUDDEA SEDIK IS THE NEW CEO, DO NOT CHANGE IT! 172.73.174.21 (talk) 03:24, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source that's not an Instagram post? Liliana (UwU) 03:25, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I saw someone add Twomad as the "owner" to the infobox. I don't think Muudea is actually the CEO of Radioshack, but "Twomad" is definitely not the "owner" of RadioShack. --Whodiduexpect (talk) 09:25, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

History Repeats Itself? Modern Decline[edit]

After reading this section about the Tandy Corporation buyout of the bankrupt RadioShack chain in the 1960s: “Private-label brands from lower-cost manufacturers displaced name brands to raise Radio Shack profit margins;[citation needed] non-electronic lines from go-carts to musical instruments were abandoned entirely.” I cannot help but feel like the irony of this should be commented upon in some manner. The article should note that at the company’s highest point(which is stated as 1991), RadioShack’s inventory was full of those very same items. Tandy brand remote controlled toys, appliances, musical synthesizers, etc with Realistic and Goldstar included. It seems the very same items contributed to an even more disastrous fall. 98.235.68.109 (talk) 04:04, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Strange phrase[edit]

The phrase "During RadioShack Corporation's bankruptcy proceeding 2015" doesn't seem to make any sense in English. If anyone can figure out what it means, please edit it to make it clearer. David Spector (talk) 15:48, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

undue weight on recent events (bankruptcies) in lead[edit]

Please rewrite lead to not feature four out of five paragraphs (after the initial sentence) focused on various financial difficulties. The retailer existed for nearly a hundred years; please find a (better) balance between recent financial woes and everything else that happened. CapnZapp (talk) 16:39, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
