Blogsome[edit]

Looks like an attempt to advertise an otherwise unknown website. BMWman 05:38, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. It is a site similar to Blogger but is singular and notable because it is based on open-source software which is factually stated on the entry. View the original entry for Blogger less than 12 months ago. User: Mark Brown
    • User's only edits are to this page, to Blogsome and to Weblog. Non-notable subject, delete. RickK 09:17, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete Article is brand new, but the site is not yet notable. (The open source script is WordPress, and drives many sites. Blogsome is already listed there.) - Amgine 06:31, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • For these other sites you need to download the software, configure the database etc. which is beyond the general users. Blogsome brings Wordpress to the general public.
  • Delete. Once blogsome is successful and thereby notable, I feel that the article can have its place here.

      • What? What are you doing? I, Vague Rant posted that, along with the bit below, as one comment, see here: [1]. I am no anon. - Vague | Rant 11:15, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
        • I'm sorry, this was meant to go beneath the anonymous paragraph above yours. Somehow I edited it into the middle of your comments. RickK 20:21, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
  • At the moment, I'm not so sure it's earned it. - Vague | Rant 06:37, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
    • Did you view the original entry for Blogger? Even the current entry for Blogger has the revelation:"On August 23. 2004, officials at Blogger announced that it had been 5 years since the launch of the service."

      • While blogs are a cultural phenomenon and blogger.com certainly has earned an article, this is just a website. Insignificant, delete. Wyllium

  • Delete: Blogs are thick as gnats. Blog sites are thick as flies. The one and only of something related to blogs might merit an entry, but this is just a website. Geogre 19:13, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. If its adherents can avoid vanity-spamming innocent passers-by, it may one day be big enough to add. chocolateboy 21:50, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Per above. --Depakote 01:36, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
