Junko Iwao (岩男 潤子, Iwao Junko, born February 18, 1970 in Beppu, Ōita)[1] is a Japanese voice actress and singer. Her most notable role is in Cardcaptor Sakura, providing the voice to Sakura's best friend and cousin, Tomoyo Daidōji.[2] She also voiced lead character Mima Kirigoe in Perfect Blue,[3] Ceres in Ceres, Celestial Legend, and Kikyo in Hunter x Hunter. In video games, she voiced Pai Chan in Virtua Fighter, Carole Pepper in Honkai Impact 3rd, Mint in Tales of Phantasia and Serika in To Heart.[2]

In 2018, she participated in Anime North, in Toronto, Canada.[4]

In 2019, she attended Anime Matsuri, in Houston, USA.[5]

In 2022, she won the Kazue Takahashi Award at the 16th Seiyu Awards.[6]

In 2023, she was at Otakon, in Washington, D.C., USA[7]

In 2024, she is to attend Anime Summit, in Brasília, Brazil.[8]
