Someone (Tongpoo?) wrote, regarding Yuming's first release (Henji wa iranai),

It's there --- click on 3F Song List, then on the hiragana he, and use the small scroll bar at the right to scroll down to the bottom of the list. I almost didn't see that scroll bar.

Kureta Karuho[edit]

Are Yuming & Kureta Karuho the same person ?

Several web sites say yes.

yes, it was a pen name she used in writing songs for others. it's actually a play on "Greta Garbo".

i don't think she used it on any of her own songs. except, of course, the few that were written for others but she ended up covering herself many years later. 216.50.220.21 (talk) 03:29, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Album Images[edit]

Hello:) I try to upload some images in the swedish article for Kyu Sakamoto[1] (I know this dosent have anything to do with Yumi Matsutoya-san) I wonder how were you able to upload those images of her albums? Contradictions in the Chianti crowd[edit]

The article states that when she was a teenager, she used to go to an Italian restaurant named Chianti, which was frequented by many people, including Robert Capa. Robert Capa died in 1954 - Yuming was born in 1954. If I don't see a source for this material on the Chianti crowd, it would be beter to delete it. Patiwat 06:11, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

.The episodes about her early years were translated from her article on ja:wikipedia.org, but it seems to have been against the fact. According to the book Chianti Monogatari written by Tsuneyoshi Noji and published in 1997, the Italian restaurant started in 1960, six years after Capa's death. Yuming was a character in a video game[edit]

In Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, there is a character called Yuming. She is a music artist from the far east who is staying in the game's city as a break from her career. The player meets her in the city's hotel, and interacts with her a number of times. Yuming also sung the game's main credit vocal theme, "Mysterious Flower". She appeared in an animated music video for this theme as her in-game cartoon-y counterpart, where she interacted with the in-game world:

Obviously a wikia page and a YouTube video are not valid sources for a wikipedia article. I've tried to find some myself briefly but I've not had much luck. If someone could actually locate some valid sources for this, it would be good to include in the article.
